Age for Admission
We admit children ages two years nine months to six years. Preference is given to siblings of current students. If specific classes are full, applicants’ names are put on a waiting list or offered a space in another class. As space becomes available, the school will notify parents.
Admissions Consideration
Abigail Adams Preschool does not use a ranked wait pool, but rather considers a variety of factors in admission decisions. A child’s age and current developmental range of the class, gender and diversity balance, parental or caregiver participation, and siblings of current families are all considered.
